I updated my will and added CLI as a beneficiary of my estate. I wanted to leave a legacy for CLI. God took me from disinterest in inmates to a profound realization of His great love and work in the hearts of broken men and women who are just like me — saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ! I look forward to someday rejoicing in heaven with our brothers and sisters who were behind bars and meeting them face to face with Christ!

Ways to Give

There are many ways for you to use your legacy to continue blessing inmates after your lifetime.

Make a Gift in Your Will

By naming CLI in your will, you are stating that you care about sharing the gospel with future generations. You can do this by naming a set amount, or you can set a percentage to give.  Either way, you are making a huge impact in giving hope to inmates for generations to come.

Name CLI as a Beneficiary

When you name CLI Prison Alliance as beneficiary in your retirement plan or life insurance policy, you are leveraging your legacy to make an impact. Use this opportunity to bless inmates after you have passed.

Donate IRA Assets

If you saved more than you need for retirement and are over the age of 70, you may donate part of your savings to CLI when you donate directly to CLI. Donating IRA assets can be a financially rewarding strategy for both you and CLI. As always, you should talk with your financial representative or tax adviser before making a decision that alters your tax situation.
