God Was Always There – Oswaldo’s Testimony
A few months ago I got transferred to a different unit and began to get nervous. I started praying while on the bus, and as I was getting settled in my new cell, I saw a few items from CLI Prison Alliance.
Patrick Sent Me
It was four years ago that Chaplain “Tip” met Patrick, a 33-year-old inmate who was lost. Patrick had requested a visit from the chaplain. In their meeting, he began to explain that he had gone the way of the world, and it took being locked up to bring him to his senses about his life.
Divine Intervention – Zach’s Story
He said he went to court with many charges against him, and he was in fear for his freedom. So, he began to pray in earnest for the Lord to intervene and have mercy on him.
Tragic Accident Leads to Salvation
“While going to the prison yesterday there was heavy traffic and we witnessed a tragic accident. A truck hit a pedestrian and killed him. I had no idea that the next day, when I was preaching in the jail, that same truck driver would be there too. I was able to talk to him and He accepted Christ as his Savior.”

“My life was nothing before Christ. When I was incarcerated, I lost everything, but by His grace and mercy, I got it all back. I realized I can’t do things my way.

“The Ultimate Pardon” leads Inmate to CLI Program
I made my decision to make Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior on Nov. 17, 2017. The reason I made this choice was that I could not control my life anymore. Every decision I made was about drugs and alcohol. My decision to make Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior has gotten my kids back. I have been sober since Nov. 17, 2017. I got my G.E.D. and most of all, I got the love I have been missing my whole life.
“I Finally Let God In”: Charles’ Testimony
I’ve got others to start your Bible study lessons. We have started a Bible study every evening in our pod. I talk with others about what God has done for me. Since my wife passed away in April, God has comforted me letting me know she is in heaven with him. Your lessons have helped me to help others draw closer to God.
“Walk in a New Way” – Sylvia’s Story
Although this experience saved my life, I still am happy that I am going home. I’m praying every day that God continues to enlighten me with understanding His precious word and to mature in my Christian walk. I still have a lot of work to do on myself, a lot of growing up to do, and I thank God for where I am so far. I pray that this is the “beginning” of a forever relationship with all of you, my new family in Christ.
